1. Acceptance

These terms govern all use of Flicker. By creating an account or accessing the service, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Ownership of your work

You retain full ownership and copyright of everything you upload. Flicker doesn't claim any rights to your films.

By uploading content, you grant Flicker a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transcode, and distribute your media as needed to provide the service. This license ends when you delete the asset.

3. Copyright & DMCA

You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you upload. We have a zero-tolerance policy for IP theft.

We follow the DMCA. Send valid takedown notices to legal@flicker.film.

4. Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed:

1.Uploading unlawful, harmful, or defamatory material.
2.Automated scraping of metadata or content.
3.Interfering with security or authentication systems.
4.Impersonating others or misrepresenting affiliations.
5.Reverse-engineering our transcoding or distribution.

5. Suspension & termination

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your settings — this permanently removes your data.

6. No engagement algorithms

Unlike most social platforms, Flicker doesn't use behavioral algorithms or engagement-based amplification. Discovery is driven by direct attribution and community curation.

7. Disclaimer & indemnification

Flicker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or other users' conduct. You agree to indemnify Flicker against claims arising from your breach of these terms.
